🆚 Coordinating Two-Part Connectors

These connect equal words, phrases, or main clauses.

Normal word order is used (the verb stays in Position 2).

📈 Comparative Connector

Expresses proportional change. One change leads to another

je (If this increases/decrease) --> desto / umso (this also changes.)

They have essentially the same meaning

the more X happen, the more Y happen

Sentence Structure:

1. je ... desto = more X, more Y

Example: je ... desto
